Movement for Labor & Birth

With our modern and more sedentary lifestyle the way we birth our babies is changing. The position your baby is in for birth can play a major role in how your birth unfolds. Some things that affect how your baby comes into your pelvis and therefore the position are posture, sciatic and or low back pain, pubic symphysis pain, round and broad ligament tightness or pain.

We will learn stretches and exercises to help release, balance and properly strengthen your muscles. Learn about abdominal diastasis and how to safely work your ab muscles before birth and how to strengthen them again afterwards. The pelvic floor also plays a significant role in the birthing process so we will be looking at how it works and how to keep it working best for you. With all of these tools and more, you will be giving yourself the best opportunity you can to get your baby into a good position for a smooth delivery.
